Ray relocated to the Gold Coast in 1988 after a falling in love with all of the sunshine and sand during a holiday with his wife Joanne. Ready to start a family they both considered the Gold Coast to be the ideal place to raise children with Queensland's easy going outlook and the natural beauty of the Coast and Hinterland.

Ray's background before real estate was in the hospitality industry where his natural creative flair and leadership qualities found him as a master chef in many 5 star hotels and prestigious restaurants from Canberra to Cairns.

Ray is an avid follower and supporter of Australian Cricket, Rugby League and for many years before he married was a qualified pilot. Although passionate about flying a large family and successful career is the priority for Ray. He is never one to miss an opportunity to entertain guests, he is also true to task of all great chefs and leaves the cleaning up to others, primarily Joanne.

Fascinated with the property industry for years, Ray took the opportunity in late 1993 to move into real estate which enabled him more time to spend with his quickly expanding family. Never one to shy away from a challenge Ray has a strong belief in his ability to meet any goal he sets himself.

After looking at many different real estate groups Ray decided to commence his career with First National. The top two reasons for his choice was Ray wanted the security of working with Australia's largest real estate organisation and that they are a group based on membership rather than a franchise organisation like most of the industry. Ray's easy going manner fits better in an organisation kept together by ethics, morals and a strong belief in the industry, rather than that of a profit driven organisation like a franchise company.

Ray quickly found a natural flair in Real Estate because of his fresh and relaxed outlook. He knows from personal experience only too well how stressful the process of buying and selling a home can be and uses that knowledge to ensure calm, relaxed and professional dealings to minimise the stress.

Upon purchasing a new home in Lower Beechmont, Ray was seen by the local residents as a breath of fresh air. Within only a short space of time he was personally responsible for just about every single sale in the area and quickly earned the nickname as the "Baron of Beechmont”. A title which is still used by residents and colleagues alike.

Ray's latest achievements have been the "Director’s Award for Marketing Excellence" at the last annual awards night and numerous "Salesperson of the Month Awards". One thing for sure, if you have Ray on the job for you, you know that he is giving a 110% effort.
