Glenn Batten joined the Nerang First National team in 1992 and is one of its foundation sales team. After 4 years in working in the Finance Industry as a Finance Broker specialising in Chattel, Mortgage and Commercial Finance he was looking for a change. After a chance introduction with Mike Gray, Real Estate has been Glenn's focus.

Originating from Townsville in North Queensland Glenn was an early adopter of computers and the internet having first  discovered it's predecessor of the internet at James Cook University.

Glenn first established the Nerang First National website in early 1999 and has created one of the largest independent agency websites in Australia.

As General Manager of Nerang First National, Glenn is responsible for the overall daily running of the office ensuring the team consistently provide the highest possible buyer and seller experience. 

Glenn is responsible for the creation and implementation of a number or key advances within the office including:

• Best Practice Quality Assurance and Internal Office Systems
• Design, Creation and Maintenance of this Internet Web Site
• Customised Automated Client Relationship System that has been used as the foundation system provided to nearly 500 First National offices throughout the Australia.
• Industry Leading Network Infrastructure including Cisco ISR and VoIP PABX system, internal office intranet portal and resource centre.
• Countless In-house Marketing Initiatives

Many of these internal systems and procedures were integral in Nerang First National achieving the prestigious REIQ Queensland  Agency of the Year and REIQ Gold Coast Agency of the year for an unprecedented 5 years in a row. In fact, after 5 years in row there was nothing more to prove and Nerang First National has chosen not to compete since. 

Glenn's opinion and experience in technology issues as they relate to the Real Estate industry are often highly sought after in the network and he has been an integral part of the First National Real Estate eMarketing and Technology Forum since its inception in 2005.
