Cheree was born and raised in the New Zealand city of Hamilton which is in the heart of Waikato Region of the north island. Starting in the textile industry in New Zealand as a machinist Cheree was involved in the manufacture of a diverse range of items from sleeping bags and tents and general clothing.

Moving to Australia in 1989 Cheree quickly found work in the industry on the Gold Coast and was primarily involved with the Billabong surfwear label. Rising to the position of supervisor in the industry, Cheree decided to leave to start a family and now has two young children, Chantelle and Andrew.

Over the past 25 years Cheree has had a unique and extensive exposure to the property market. During this period she was exposed to the art of renovation by her mother who has transformed nearly 20 properties particularly in the Ashmore and surrounding suburbs.

Following in her mother’s successful footsteps and combining her own interest in interior design, Cheree undertook the arduous task purchasing and fully renovating three houses over a period of 4 years. Two of these properties were located in Bundaberg and one right here on the Gold Coast.

Whilst her passion for property was still as strong as ever, after spending nearly 4 years “on the tools”, Cheree was looking for a change. After deciding to join the real estate industry it was no coincidence that she decided to start her career with the Team at Nerang First National. They were the team who successfully marketed the Gold Coast property for her in 2003.

Cheree’s interests outside property are diverse and include waterskiing, horse riding, dancing, music and motor racing.
