From a buyers point of view, the only way to go is the internet to buy a property. It is so easy to search in the suburbs of interest and within your price range, rather than wading through the newspaper. Alerts happen each day on your computer rather than waiting for the print version on Saturdays. However I think in most cases the photography is poor, taken by an agent with a cheap camera. Professional photographs are ony one to two hundred dollars, a small percentage of a property price.
From a sellers point of view it is very expensive to advertise in print. The internet is free.
I would like to see an internet site where buyers can list their requirements, like houses wanted.

This is no one better than the other, if it works it works. If both work then real estate investors or realtors should be using both to get the maximum exposure. They should be using online advertising means such as Adwido as well as offline methods such as classified ads.
