It’s definitely an age thing…. you know…. as you get older the years just seem to fly and here we are again at the Christmas end of the year. Remember when you were sixteen and waiting to turn seventeen to get your drivers license?? It seemed like a five year wait the time went so slow. Not any more unfortunately.
The last 12 months in real estate on the Gold Coast has been challenging again and it will be great when we can finally shake this market flu called the G.F.C. The Gold Coast market place is like a race horse at the starting gate on Melbourne Cup day. It just wants to get out, break free and run fast but the Global Financial Crisis is just pulling at the bridle and holding it back for another day.
Nerang First National has changed its trading name to First National Real Estate Nerang in a national corporate brand upgrade and those of you who have seen our office will notice on your next visit that we have a smart new look. We like the new look and hope that you will too but that is the only thing that has changed. We are all still here providing you with the most experienced service in Nerang.
This year, we have decided as a company to give $1000.00 to the Mayor’s Christmas Appeal instead of sending our clients a Christmas card.
FSG (Family Support Group) Australia is the recipient of this year’s annual appeal. FSG provides valuable respite care for children with disabilities and mental illness, offering them a home away from home while their carers get a much needed break.
This is something that a lot of other businesses have done in the past few years and I cant help but think how much better off the charities would be if everybody adopted this policy. Thank you sincerely for your understanding in this matter as jointly we all continue to make a small difference at Christmas to the less fortunate.
