Handy Tables
Common conversions real estate agents are asked make is to convert square meters to squares for home sizes or to convert square meters to acres for land size.
The tables for doing these conversions are below but a good rule of thumb when converting sq meters to squares is it is a little over 10%.
Similarly, a good rule of thumb for converting sq meters to acres is just to divide by 4000. A quarter acre block is a little over 1000 square meters.
