Here are the answers to some frequently asked questions about the My Property Portfolio system...
What is my property portfolio?
my property portfolio is an internet based computer system which
automatically tracks the value of your property (or properties) over
time.
How does it work?
You enter an initial value for your property and MPP tracks the
value of your property with specially designed indices supplied by property
statisticians, Residex Pty Limited, and puts it all together in an easy
to read graph. If you're not sure of the value of your property, MPP
can contact a professional who can advise you.
When is my property value updated?
MPP e-mails you when a new value has been calculated for your property…this
may be either monthly or half yearly, depending on your level of subscription.
Do I have to pay any money?
No. There are three levels of subscription to my property portfolio
and the first one is FREE. There is a small cost if you choose to upgrade,
but there is no obligation whatsoever to upgrade…it’s totally up to
you!!
What happens when my subscription expires?
A basic subscription cannot expire. If you have a silver or gold
subscription you will be notified by email when your subscription period
is about to expire, with the option to cancel your subscription. If
you do not cancel, your subscription will automatically renew and will
be billed to the same credit card you originally subscribed with. You
will also have the option to change your credit card details at this
point.
How often can I access my property portfolio?
There is no limit to the number of times you can access my property
portfolio and because it’s on the internet, you may access it at any
time you like – seven days a week, 24 hours a day.
Are my personal details protected?
Yes. All information you enter in MPP is protected in a secure environment
and will not be passed onto any third parties. Please read our
privacy policy if you would like more information.
What if I don’t understand a term used in MPP?
There are many technical terms used when dealing with property.
We have included a glossary of terms as a reference if required. To
access the glossary, click the link in the MPP navigation bar.
Why should I use MPP?
For most people, their property is the most expensive investment
they will make, so it makes sense to keep track of your financial position
by keeping track of your property value. Keeping track of your property
value can also help you to make better decisions about buying, selling
or investing in property.
